For instance, Project to reduce government’s expenses on public & government buildings lighting and cooling through innovative green technologies: LIGHTING: - Replace existing street lighting systems with state-of-the art street light technology featuring the use of electronic ballast with dimming options during low traffic flow for further energy savings. - Install low-cost, high performance solar street lights on major streets to enhance security of persons and property. - Replace existing T12/T8 fluorescent fixtures, Incandescent and inefficient CFL bulbs with T5 Ecofluo fixture & high power CFL bulbs. COOLING & HEATING: - Replace existing air conditioners and space/water heaters with Solar assisted air conditioners and water/pool heaters. The overall benefits of the above mentioned projects are as follows: - Significantly reduce governments’ expenses 40-70% on annual electricity bills and maintenance costs. - Opportunity to generate revenue by trading carbon emission credits - Reduce pressure on power plant upgrade - Reduce climate change impacts on the environment - A greener future for prosperity |
