Description	Dear Sir/Madam, I am seeking an Investor to set up a service center & market Land Surveying Instruments in Sri Lanka, the area of Land Surveying Instruments is gaining a huge market especially since the war has ended in the North & East of Sri Lanka and there is a massive demand for these equipment, along with land surveying accessories such as Tripods, Staff and Rangepoles, Measuring tapes etc. It is of great importance that a fully equipped up to date workshop (service center) is available for the customers who purchase these Hi-Tech equipment both in the Government & Private sector, the service center is meant to calibrate (collimate) the equipments to be free from errors when taking survey measurements at site, in addition preventive maintenance of equipment is also required, other test equipment such as frequency counter, oscilloscope, etc with a range of manufacturer recommended test equipments are required for the service center. The other equipment which can be sold to the market in Global Positioning Systems (Geodetic type) for high accuracy surveying, and other equipment such as Photorammetry Equipment, and Construction Laser Products, Laser Shaft Alignment etc The investment has two important areas : A) Import and stocking Land Surveying Instruments such as Total Stations, Theodolites, Automatic Levels, and Survey accessories. Stock of construction laser products, etc should be available for immediate sale in the form of stocks. B) The service center should be set up and ready for the maintenance of the equipment sold. C) Publicity should be provided in the Newspapers, Radio and T. V. D) Carry out demonstrations of these equipment for potential customers in the Government and private sector. The above will be a few initial steps in the business. The rest of the information will be submitted in the form of a Project Report based on the discussions carried out with the investor. The investment overall will be in the range of US. $ 5 Million, which include 2 million in the form of funds available in hand to import and supply the Government sector for the orders received in the form of Government tenders award of contracts. The North & East area of Sri Lanka is undergoing a lot of development especially after the 30 year old war ended and road projects and other construction projects are upcoming, what ever the development project may be, a land surveying instrument is required and there is a massive potential to reap good sales and high profits, the profits range from 20% to 50% depending on the products sold, while the service center is a 100% profitable sector as we will also be maintaining competitors brands at a cheaper price. I have been trying to uplift this business but have been unable to achieve my goals due to financial restraints faced to improve the business.
